Prior to launching GCI Mitchell invested 10+ years developing large scale grid connected infrastructure projects for leading IPP’s including NRG, Ormat and AES. Mitchell has led the development for 600+ MW of currently operating Grid Connected Infrastructure, and has been responsible for early stage development of GW’s of energy storage projects currently in IPP pipelines. He holds a Master’s degree from Yale University and a Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York.

Prior to joining GCI Josh held numerous roles within Ormat’s Energy Storage business; developing a 3GW+ pipeline of both standalone storage and solar plus storage. He has task released over 300MW leveraging over 15 years of operational and project management experience. He holds a Master’s degree in Global Energy Management from UC Denver, a Master’s in Geological Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla, and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of Nevada, Reno. Josh also served as Engineer Officer in the U.S. Army.
Mohamed Sissoko

Mohamed has extensive experience in finance and banking, having worked at Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. Before joining GCI, he was the Senior Development Manager at Ormat, overseeing a 3.5GW+ pipeline in standalone battery energy storage and solar plus storage assets. He led greenfield siting, real estate development, interconnection, and permitting efforts, developing over 280 MW of utility-scale projects to NTP across CAISO, ERCOT, and PJM. Mohamed holds a Master’s degree in Global Energy Management from UC Denver Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Brigham Young University.

Prior to joining GCI, Raghu has over 7 years of engineering and R&D experience at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries’ shipbuilding business where he oversaw the development of numerous passenger and cargo ships. His expertise extends to cleantech projects focused on emissions reduction, offshore wind turbines, and carbon capture value chains. Raghu holds an MBA from Cornell University, specializing in finance and sustainability, and a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology.

Steven Sfeir brings a unique blend of military discipline and corporate leadership to his role at GCI. With a career spanning over 16 years, Steven began his professional journey as an Army engineer, where he specialized in military construction and project management. Transitioning to the corporate sector, Steven leveraged his skillset to excel as a Digital Projects Manager at ExxonMobil for 6 years, leading countless strategic projects to drive value for the corporation. He holds a Master’s in Geological Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla and a Bachelor of Arts from the Pennsylvania State University.

Prior to joining GCI as the Director of Real Estate, Jared served as an independent real estate consultant for the company, where he played a key role in expanding GCI’s real estate portfolio. He brings extensive experience from his career in sales and account management across various industries, including leadership roles at companies such as Modern Health, Upstart, and Mitel. Jared is recognized for his ability to build strong client relationships and navigate complex business environments. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from the University of Oklahoma.

Daniel Brennan, Esq. is an attorney with extensive experience in energy storage, municipal law, and real estate. Before joining GCI, he de-risked and secured permits for a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of battery energy storage projects across the U.S. and Canada. With over a decade of experience, Daniel has led teams in real estate acquisitions, permitting, and regulatory approvals for housing, telecommunications, and energy projects. He has worked both in-house and with national law firms. Daniel holds a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University at Buffalo Law School and is admitted to the New York State Bar.
